GlobalEye — Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how GlobalEyeHQ LLC ("GlobalEye," "we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use the GlobalEye websites, progressive web application, mobile experiences, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). The Service is currently offered in the United States as a free beta without public user accounts or paid subscriptions.

2. Information You Provide

Invitation requests: The current invitation form opens your own email application. It does not automatically submit the entered address to GlobalEye. If you choose to send the resulting email, we receive the email address and other information you include through our email provider.

Support and legal communications: We receive the contact details and contents of messages you send to us.

Poll participation: If you vote in a Daily Poll, the Service records your selected response in an aggregate tally, stores a local indication in your browser, and retains a pseudonymous one-way identifier derived from a signed device cookie for up to 35 days to prevent repeat voting. The poll does not require your name or email address, and the duplicate-vote record does not store your raw IP address.

Push notifications: If you affirmatively enable browser push notifications, we receive and store a browser-generated push endpoint, expiration information where supplied, and encryption keys needed to send notifications. Your browser or push provider may also process information under its own terms. You may unsubscribe through GlobalEye or your browser settings.

3. Information Stored on Your Device

GlobalEye uses browser local storage and session storage to remember interface preferences, cached market information, acknowledgements, poll participation, and other product state. If you use Portfolio, supported holdings, quantities, cost information, cash inputs, import notices, and related portfolio data are stored locally in your browser. GlobalEye's servers receive symbols or other limited requests needed to retrieve market data, but the Service is designed not to upload your complete locally stored portfolio to GlobalEye.

Local browser storage remains on the device and browser profile you used until the Service or you delete it, you clear browser data, or browser policy removes it. Anyone with access to that browser profile may be able to view it. Do not import information on a shared or untrusted device.

4. Information Collected Automatically

When you access the Service, GlobalEye and its infrastructure providers may automatically process technical information such as IP address, request date and time, requested URL, response status, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, and diagnostic or security events. This information is used to deliver the Service, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, and protect infrastructure.

GlobalEye does not currently use third-party behavioral advertising trackers or third-party behavioral analytics tools on the public Service. If this changes, we will update this Policy and provide any choices or consent required by law.

5. How We Use Information

We use information to provide and operate the Service; deliver requested push notifications; answer communications; maintain poll integrity and aggregate results; remember settings; secure and prevent abuse of the Service; debug, monitor, and improve reliability; enforce our Terms; comply with law; and protect the rights, safety, and integrity of users, GlobalEye, and others.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

6. How We Disclose Information

We may disclose information to service providers that operate infrastructure on our behalf, including Vercel for frontend hosting and delivery, Render for backend hosting, Upstash for Redis-based storage, email providers for messages you choose to send, and browser push-delivery providers when you enable notifications. These providers process information under their own terms and our configurations.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law or legal process; enforce our agreements; investigate fraud, abuse, or security incidents; protect rights, safety, or property; or complete a merger, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or transfer of the Service, subject to applicable legal requirements.

Third-party market-data, news, prediction-market, and AI providers generally supply information to GlobalEye. We do not intentionally send them your complete locally stored portfolio. Limited requests—such as a security symbol needed to retrieve a quote—may be transmitted through GlobalEye's backend or directly as described by the feature.

7. Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including security, operational, legal, and dispute-resolution needs. Aggregate poll tallies may be retained as non-identifying historical information. Push-subscription records are retained until you unsubscribe, the subscription becomes invalid, or we remove them. Communications may be retained while needed to respond and maintain appropriate business records. Infrastructure logs are retained according to our configurations and provider settings. Information stored locally in your browser remains subject to your browser controls.

8. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect information. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration will never occur. You are responsible for securing your device and browser profile and for avoiding the submission of passwords, brokerage credentials, government identifiers, or other sensitive information through features not designed to receive them.

9. Your Choices and Rights

You may clear local storage through your browser, disable push notifications, unsubscribe an active push subscription, or choose not to send an invitation email. Depending on where you live and subject to legal exceptions, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we maintain about you, or to appeal certain decisions concerning a request.

To submit a privacy request, email GlobaleyeHQ@gmail.com with the subject "Privacy Request." We may need to verify your request. Because much of the product state is stored only in your browser and is not associated with an account, we may not possess or be able to identify that information on our servers.

GlobalEye does not sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so we do not currently offer a sale or targeted-advertising opt-out. We will honor legally required browser-based preference signals if our practices change in a way that makes them applicable.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. The Terms require users to be at least 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

11. International Access

GlobalEye is operated in the United States, and information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our service providers operate. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand that applicable data-protection rules may differ from those in your location. The current launch is directed to users in the United States.

12. Third-Party Links and Services

The Service may link to third-party websites or display third-party content. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this Policy. Review those policies before providing information to them.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy as the Service, providers, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised Policy and update the effective date. If a change materially affects how we handle personal information, we will provide additional notice when reasonably practicable.
